Red Clover & Hormone Harmony — A Natural Guide to Easing Menopause
Let’s get real for a second: no one prepares you for menopause. It creeps in—maybe with a missed period, maybe with some night sweats, or maybe you're just feeling “off” in ways you can’t explain. One day you’re thriving… the next you’re crying over a sandwich commercial and sleeping like your bed is made of lava.
I’ve been there. And I’m here to tell you that while this transition is completely natural, it doesn’t mean you have to suffer through it in silence or confusion. Support exists—and a lot of it comes from nature.
One of my favorite go-to herbs for this season of life? Red Clover. It’s a gorgeous little wildflower that’s quietly powerful in helping women move through menopause with more ease, grace, and sanity. I’ve lovingly woven it into my own hormone cream, and I can’t wait to tell you why.

🍵 Red Clover Tea: A Gentle Start
For anyone sensitive to alcohol or just looking for a cozy ritual, red clover tea is a beautiful place to start. It’s calming, nourishing, and easy to brew:
Simple Red Clover Tea Recipe
1 tbsp dried red clover
2 cups boiling water
Steep for 10–20 minutes
Sweeten with a little honey if you like
Drink 1–3 cups a day for gentle support (up to 6 months at a time). Bonus: it’s lovely iced during hot flash season!
💗 What I Personally Use (and Offer!)
When I noticed my own hormones going haywire—especially during those early perimenopause waves—I created a hormone cream inspired by the beloved Anna’s Wild Yam Cream, but with my own herbal twist.
My version includes:
Wild yam root
Red clover blossoms
Evening primrose
Clary sage, lavender, and geranium essential oils
